What is the parent/student portal?
The portal is where registered parents/students can login to update their account, register for online classes, make payments, and more.
You can access the portal from the main navigation menu, or click HERE.

If you’re entirely new to MSB, simply click “Watch Tutorial” to learn how to create a new account in our Parent/Student Portal. You can also download and submit a New Student Registration form using the button below.
LIVE ONLINE CLASSES + LESSONS
When an online class (or private lesson) is about to start, how do I join?
You can now access the class from your portal account.
So you don’t even have to open Zoom, and you don’t have to hunt for the right email with the correct link and password.

Do I have to wait for the start of a new term to enroll in a class?
Nope. We offer OPEN ENROLLMENT, so students are welcome to start at any time! Contact Us and we’ll get you dancing.
Can I try a class without registering for the full term?
Yes. Visitors to MSB are welcome to take an individual class at any time.
After 2 continuous weeks of attendance, enrollment for the term is encouraged.
How do I know what level class my child should take?
Ballet class placement must be approved by the administration.
Parent/teacher conferences may be arranged at any time.

Can anyone have private lessons or coaching?
Yes. Both private dance lessons and coaching are available. Each lesson is tailored to the individual’s needs and goals.

MISSED CLASS / ABSENCES
What happens if I miss a class?
Missed classes can be made up during the CURRENT TERM by making arrangements with our front desk. Whenever possible, please let us know if you will be absent.
If a term is almost over, students who have registered and paid for the next term have an extra 2 WEEKS to make up a missed class. Arrangements can be made with our front desk.
(There are NO REFUNDS for classes not taken.)
Do you offer scholarships or work-study programs?
Yes. We offer both based on merit and financial need.
